Hello, I'm looking for an Aes Sedai of preferably either Brown of Yellow Ajah, but it doesn't matter much, to be honest. I'd like to use the Aes Sedai RP as one of my Accepted requirements, since I'm still not sure of which Ajah I want her to join. If anyone's interested, please reply!

Hello. I have a Yellow. Do you have anything particular in mind for this RP?

Well, my character has a love of all things living -- I just don't know yet whether to send her in the direction of studying them or aiding them. If a Yellow could somehow try to sway her to the aiding direction, I think that'd make a good RP. What do you think?

I was going to offer my Red, Elin, but there's Kathleen actually offering what you asked for.

Sure we could do that some how..if you want to PM me we can work out specifics. Aiding is a good direction to go, and you get to study as well, you need to understand a situation before you can help fix it right? And if you want Phelix on board too we could work out a way for that too I'm sure.

I'm thinking of maybe a conversation about what can and cannot be healed, how healing works, etc. Auriane's arches involved her being a stilled, dying woman so I think that has awoken in her an interest on matters of healing. She wants to know why some things cannot be healed, what healing is like today compared to the Age of Legends. Involving a Red could be interesting since they are obviously experienced in matters like that. Not sure how appropriate that idea may be, but it'd be a way to relate the two Ajahs on something and it'd also relate to Auriane's arches.

That sounds great *runs off to research answers to those questions hee hee*.

Perhaps Aurianne has been assigned to assist Seheria in the Healing Ward, where Seheria is making the rounds, checking on patients. At the same time, Elin is sitting with a male channeler who has given up the will to live after being Gentled. Elin, being strong in Spirit, could be Delving him, looking to see why he's just stopped trying. Seheria and Elin could chat a moment or two about what can be done, and that would be an interesting segue into what can and cannot be Healed, and would get directly to Aurianne's issues with/fear of being Severed.

 

I've not played with Seheria before, Kathleen... does that sound in character to you?

That sounds good. Seheria does a lot of work in the infirmaries and stuff so that sounds really plausible. What do you think of it Myrenna?

Okay, I've started writing the first post and I was wondering, Phelix, about describing Elin. Does she wear a bonnet, and does a vexed expression suit her?

Elin rarely wears a bonnet anymore. She gave it up as a daily thing when she was an Accepted, but she does still keep a few around for old time's sake. If you are setting this RP within the last 20 years, Elin wears a silver hair caul, which is a ter'angreal she has on permanent loan from the Tower. If it's before that, her hair would most likely be loose and wavey.

 

In this instance, working with a man who's given up on life... Elin would likely be quite vexed. But in general, she's a pleasant woman... if a bit set in her ways... and she generally thinks she's the most competent woman in the room.

No worries! I was just thinking through why Elin would be wearing a bonnet at that time... it's possible, considering why she ended up at the Tower. (She had a male twin who was executed for being able to channel... unproven, but likely seeing as Elin can.)

Elin is 120 in the Main timeline... so just a couple decades older than Seheria. And yeah, it looks like your Yellow is a bit stronger than Elin... though, Elin has a fairly unique strength in Spirit. It'll be interesting seeing how it plays out... who is the more expert? The Yellow in the infirmary or the Red dealing with a male channeler? *evil laugh*

Oh Seheria is the superior of course..she's the superior at all times even if the fools around her don't see it *flips hair*.

Alrighty! First post is here. Nothing really happening, haha. If Seheria turned to say something about Healing to Auriane and Elin butted in about another bit of Healing, would that be a good path to take?

Hehe... now, if Seheria stands over the man and tries to tell Aurianne something about his condition, Elin would definitely feel the urge to correct her. Even if she wasn't entirely wrong.
