I only started reading WOT at the end of January but I'm already up to The Gathering Storm. I find the books incredibly engrossing and well written and full of great characters. I'm really glad I found this series because I felt really disappointed by the end of the Malazan Book of The Fallen and desperately needed something to take away the sting.

 

My favourite characters (at the moment) are:

Mat-- I found him really annoying in the first few books but he's probably in my top three right now.

Perrin-- Really liked his character ever since The Dragon Reborn.

 

 

When he met Faile.

 

 

Rand-- I guess you have to like him, but he became a lot more interesting after the first few books

 

 

With the whole idea of him possibly going crazy and hearing the voice of Lews Therin

 

 

I also like Min, Thom, Lan, Moiraine, Faile and many others.

 

I'm not too fond of Elyane or Nyneave

 

 

Though I like her a lot more since she married Lan.

 

 

 

My Favourite books so far are 4,5 and 6 and 11

Least Favourite 10.
