Loran whistles to himself as he limps off back to the Band. He pulls a strange ring out of his pocket and eyes it. He had picked up in the novice quarters. He puts it on and looks closer "What a pretty little ruby." He strokes the ruby and his hand bursts into flames. "Aaaaargh! What is this thing?" A few hours later he grins to himself and eyes the ring gleaming on his finger. It looks like the raid hadn't been a complete waste after all.
