The sun shone bright over head as Andre made his way from the barracks to the training yards.

As he squinted up at the hot sun, Andre had a strange, unsettling feeling that today was not going to be normal.

The Yards were empty of people, a strange sight at this time in the morning.

As he turned around, he saw someone he did not recognize following him.

After this stranger followed him for a while, Andre finally couldn't take the suspense anymore and whirled around.

"You have been summoned" said the stranger, who now didn't look so strange.

Standing before him was Thera, the Mistress of Trainees!

"Oh, Light, I am in trouble" he thought.

Fighting his growing sense of panic, he bravely asked Thera, "What is the summoning for, Mistress Trakelyn?"

"It seems a messenger has arrived from the North bearing a letter addressed to you concerning your family."

"You have been asked to go to their aid, and assist them with the chickens that have run amok."

It was a strange message, but Andre knew what it really was; a coded message!

He quickly packed his bags for his new mission.
