The downfall of CSI

So far, except for the minature crime scene, I am not liking this season. Actually the last season began losing me too. The show seems to be getting stale. Anyone else agree?

wasn't it stale pretty much from the beginning? I can never get in to shows that are that formulaic. Thus, even though House is snarky I can't watch it every week.

Well it is in Vegas which kept my attention for 3 years. Then the characters are great, but you only can go so far doing character development before it becomes over the top. I mean the strippercsi girl gets possibly raped, does her own csi-ing, has her daughter taken and now her dad is shot. Too over the top. I think the show is trying too hard now to capture viewers.

It seems like it is trying to out-do everything else since there are so many cop shows on TV these days. Sadly, I agree - I wasn't thrilled with last week's episode.

But then, the fact that Chris and I have CSI and/or Law & Order (various versions) on Spike on in the background for most of the evening while we go about making dinner etc. may mean that I'm a little overdone with cop shows.

Well, I only watched like the first 3-4 epsiodes before I decided that the show was stupid and ridicilous...

Fine. The pretty vegas sounds enthralled me for a few seasons too.
