OOC News

I have no record of when the last time the inactive members were last active, I've asked them but they haven't really answered with specific times. I found one through possibly picking up an old RP with Liitha.

We are working on coming up with a system for spreading information to our members, like defining the known secret signs and signals the black ajah use to make themselves known to each other and leave messages around the tower that other AS wouldn't notice. I've been discussing this with Liitha to come up consistant signals between the BA and the CotS. We will be working less behind the scenes on this in April, now that we are both on board with it. Our plan is to post in our own boards asking our members to supply signals they have used in the past and then a thread to suggest new ones, and then Liitha and I would bring together what we get and make up a rough list for people to use. They can come up with their own as they RP, but the hope is to have a common base for simple/common signals between darkfriends. I have this thread going now, we'll see if it gets replies.

 

We also still need a bio made up for the IC NSW Head. This was completely my fail. I will have something by the end of April for sure.

Also, in the last days of March Eqwina returned to us, and Matalina left. Hopefully Eqwina will be active as she plans on being and we can come up with some good devilish plots to undertake!

 

IC News

The Yellow's are doing the interdivision RP (with the FL) now based on the BA having hired some people to kill the E&E. Seheria (Kathleen's Black Sister) is hiring the killer and actively being naughty, then as a Yellow she will help ‘track down' the killer. - this is still going, slowly on the yellow's end, but quite steadly on the BA and FL end.

 

The RP that is currently being played by Alicatia and Seheria will be leading to Matalina's other character, Kate Al'Ker, being lead to the Black Ajah.- this will be finishing up this month, rather abruptly as Mat has stepped back from DM. Kate will be brought in to the Ajah though.

There were no purely Gray Ajah RPs this month. Matalina did RP as Alicatia, but in her role as a Black sister, not as a Gray. I haven’t yet RP’d with Themis, but plan to get her out and about shortly.

 

3) Problems, ideas, etc

 

Problems... well, I just took over this month from Jaegan, who transitioned out because of time commitments, so I don’t know how active she plans on being in the future as a player/character. I also believe Matalina plays Alicatia primarily as a Black sister. This leaves me with two active Grays. I think the solution... or at least a step in the right direction, is to get Themis and Esther out on the boards where Novices and Accepted can see them as Gray sisters. It will help with our numbers, I think.

 

Another minor problem is knowing when certain players last played. For the two inactives, I am fairly certain they haven’t played since we moved to DM 8, but I can’t tell you when they played last before that. I figure I will leave that as their mark and move them to MiA when the DM 8 anniversary hits.

The Yellow congregation and the two Blues will meet up in Cairhein. We didn't actually RP as Mimi and Ray-ray in March, but as we did in Feb and will be connecting this string to the Yellow E&E one that just started, I left them up.

We all go through active and then more inactive times, hon. Hopefully now that we have Phelix on board as active Gray Head, we can at least get the Heads RP moving. I love what Lor's done on it, and I'm looking forward to joining in.

What about Tigra? She is in the list of members, under inactive (now that I've sorted through everything) I don't known when she was last active. Since she is not on your list of purged people or active/inactive where does that put her?

 

Re Matalina retiring from active RPing: shall I move her to your purged list once that last RP is done? I can add the date she last RPed to that list, so that should she wish to come back, we'll know whether or not she will have to send her bio in for re-approval.

 

If you want to purge her you can, or we can leave her in the inactive board for her year in case she comes back before that time so she doesn't have to go through all the hassle of resubmitting. Its up to you. I've moved her to inactive on all my threads, last RP'd as Alicatia and Kate in March (both in Black Capacity).

That would be helpful as the only way I know to do it is manually go through every RP on every board until I find the most recent with that character. Don't know where Tigara fell out - I'll check with Tay which usergroups he (yes, he :wink:) is still in, and which he has been removed from. He's indicated to me that he won't be coming back any time soon.

She's done of all RPs on the BA end of things. Her last post in the one running thread we had going was in March and I just summed up the rest of the RP plan earlier today. So the RP ends in April, but her last post was in March.

 

I don't know if she has any more open RPs in the other Ajahs, but she is cleared up in mine.
