Kat, do you think that Ellen knew her fate? It seemed like a bad time to tell Tye that she boinged the toaster... like.... a lot.... and then she told him she did it for him. It was like she was trying to make it easier for him to give her the drink.

 

Will Caprica Six become a new Boomer type and rejoin the fleet with Baltar. I think Baltar puts on in her toaster brain when he is escaping... that would really piss off the imaginary friend.

I do think Lady MacTigh knew what was going down. She might have been vain and self serving, but she wasn't stupid. If she had lived, the best she could expect was a lengthy war crimes trial, with her entire marriage and sexual history called into question (Can you imagine Lee as a witness? "Um, yeah. She hit on me at a dinner party with my dad and the President and then again when we were being held hostage by Dana Delany." "Are these the actions of a woman who loved her husband, Commander?" "Uhhhh..."), followed by public execution. That's assuming that a lynch mob doesn't get word of her first and tear her limb from limb.

 

So yeah, I think she knew what was in store for her and probably welcomed it.

Ronald D. Moore recently sat down with ComingSoon to talk about BATTLESTAR GALACTICA and had a lot to say.

Q: Do you have a specific destination for the show and if so can you just tell us what it is?

 

 

Moore: I do actually know how I want the series to end, but I didn't know at the beginning. At the beginning, I wasn't sure where it was going to end. It was sort of as we started into the second year that the show had matured to a certain point and I sort of understood what all of the themes were about and now I do have an end point of where it should end. Right now the challenge is about judging that correctly. Know when to leave the stage. Hopefully you bring it to a close perfectly…It's just about if you can line up all of those pieces at the exact moment. I have an idea of where it's going to go and I've started the season with fear that I didn't have enough stories to get to the end. Like, oh my God maybe we should just end it this year because I don't how I'm going to fill another 20 of these and then you're always filled up and the end of the season there's always more stories than we ever got around to doing. So right now my gut says we've got a couple more years to do it. I could see two more seasons. Next year you can ask me the same question and maybe I'll say two more seasons. So yeah, I don't know.

While I'm glad someone realized that two genocides don't make a right, I wish it had been more than just Helo who took a stand. Also, the complete lack of follow up bugs me. This needs to be addressed in a future episode. There has to be a consquence, otherwise what was the point of introducing the virus?

 

Also, I'm really interested to see how the division between the New Capricans and the Galaticans plays out this season. Its very obvious that the humans who stayed behind with the fleet are really unable to comprehend what the others experienced with the Occupation.

Due to the move, I missed a week. I have last week's DVRed but have not watched it yet. The good news is that I am catching Yveva up on Season 1 (finally) so I can create a new fan. We are about 6 episodes into season 1 now.

Do you think the fleet will be disappointed when they find Earth and we are much less advanced technology wise?

 

Yveva is now about halfway through season 2. I finally watched the last episode and found myself wondering if Adama actually caused the strike. Probably not as the Cylons had been infiltrating the fleet with skinjobs for a few years before.
