I'm watching a friend play this game, and it is freakin' hilarious.

Yep Portal 2 is a worthy Portal game, it is really freakin awesome.

8-10 hours. Absolutely amazing. It's only been 3 months into 2011 but I can see this as Game of the Year. Just wow.

i think Game of the Year is gonna be a reach. i mean you've got som beast titles comming out

I agree Red, Mortal Kombat really does look like a strong contender this time.

 

Ive never played Portal or Portal 2

believe me, its worth it your time and money. Amazing game, with quite hard coop levels.

Portal is the only game Yahtzee has given a perfect review for. And that is saying something!

I have Portal 2, I need to finish Portal first, but my boyfriend and I are playing co-op right now. Amazing!

the console co-op feature is enough to perk up my ears. next time we go to game stop i'm gonna have to check it out. i'm also lookign for non-FPSer's that me & bubba can play together!!

Epic game! Though it's insanely hard to play without voice communication. Trying to tell people where to stand and where to put portals is way to time-consuming & confusing..

I bought it yesterday evening, and I'm looking at the box still wrapped up in plastic....

 

Earliest I can play it though is Sunday cos I'm traveling to attend a Wedding today. It's taken an act of will to avoid spoiling myself I can tell you...

Bought it last night on Steam, just finished it now. Thoroughly impressed. Stephen Merchant did an absolutely stellar job as the voice of Wheatley

And his ending actually made me feel bad for him. Companion cube made me happy though!

 

 

GOTY is a reach this year. I'm 95% sure that goes to Skyrim this year, with some contenders for other awards being Witcher 2,L.A Noire, Portal 2, Uncharted 3, Battlefield 3, SW:TOR (if it comes out), Shogun II and Infamous 2.

I tried the first Portal for free. It was OK. Didn't see what all the fuss was about though admittedly, GLaDOS/Companion Cube was cute.
