OKay! All the people in my breakroom at work are playing this really

wickedly awesome version of "Celebrity Six Degrees of Separation," and

I thought we could have fun with it here.

 

General Rules

 

Six degrees of separation (also referred to as the "Human Web") refers to the idea that everyone is, on average, approximately six steps away from any other person on Earth, so that a chain of, "a friend of a friend" statements can be made, on average, to connect any two people in six steps or fewer. It was originally set out by Frigyes Karinthy and popularized by a play written by John Guare.

 

In other words, you have to try and connect any person (in this version

a celebrity) in no more than six steps (other celebrities or movies) to

another one.

 

For example, try to connect Mel Gibson with Nicole Kidman. Using the

rules, you would have to look for a person connected to him by starring

in another movie with a person who was in another movie until you

connect one in a movie she also starred in.

 

You get more Shayol Ghul points the lesser or more clever/more

elaborate/lesser known ways to make the connection.

Harrison Ford to Stalin

That's going to be hard, Krak. I'll research it though. I'm sure it

would have something to do with Indiana Jones and maybe someone from

that movie was previously in Russia during World War II and stayed with

someone who met with Stalin. LOL. THat is a hard one.

The game sounds fun. As for points, I'm not sure yet, okay? This is the first I've heard of it.
