First i wanna say hello to everybody since im a new member of dragonmount.

 

Im rereading the series, i read it for the firts time maybe ten years ago.

Im now reading LOC and reacted to the part when Demira Eriff, a salidarembassy aes sedai is attacked by

black eyed aiel. It made me think of the weird aiel at the end of TOM.

Its proabably no connection(?) but is it ever revelead who orderd the fake-aiel attack?

The books up through Gathering Storm do not tell. But it seems to me that Fain was behind it.

Either Fain's Whitecloaks or Taim's Asha'man seem to be the popular choice. This thread has some interesting discussion.
