A Possible Mistake?

So, here I was reading through a theory on how the Dark One would die (and chatting about it), and I recalled the chapter about Aviendha's trip to Rhuidean. The viewings she had while within the columns were all possibilities... So why wasn't there one where the DO had won over the Dragon and forces of Light? Does this mean that Rand and the Light-siders will win, or did Brandon just not put it in there, and if not, why?

If the DO wins, there is hardly a future to see. I'm not sure about this, but I've got the impression, that if the DO wins, he will undo the Pattern, and thus there isn't any future after he has won. So it can't be seen by any means :) I might be wrong though.

Which means the Light wins. Not like anyone actually believed it would turn out any other way.

Right on the nose.

RJ explained it a long time ago, if the DO wins, nothing matters as there will be no pattern.

the viewing she had in the columns on her second trip were not all possibilities. It was one line of future only and it showed her what will definitely happen if the events will proceed as they are now. She will of course change things so the actual future will be completely different from what she saw.

She did see many possible futures on her first trip to Rhuidean in TSR when she went through the rings (not the columns). but as others have mentioned all of those visions (and also the one she saw on her second trip) were based on reading the Pattern which would not exist if the DO truly won. At best she could possibly see a blank wall like the wolves did in TAR before Rand's transformation in VoG.

And Min and Cadsuane explain it in-world.

So that's why it made so much sense! :D I thought that it sounded so familiar and came to my mind so easily that I must have read it somewhere, but couldn't remember where. Thanks!
