James Cameron is a terrible person

Featured Replies

In a joint announcement today, Paramount Pictures, Twentieth Century Fox and Lightstorm Entertainment are set to re-release James Cameron's "Titanic" worldwide on April 6th 2012.

The long in the works 3D conversion of the second-highest grossing movie of all time will premiere around the 100th anniversary of the Titanic setting sail (April 10th). Cameron and producer have overseen the conversion.

Cameron says "There's a whole generation that's never seen 'Titanic' as it was meant to be seen, on the big screen. And this will be 'Titanic' as you've never seen it before, digitally re-mastered at 4K and painstakingly converted to 3D. With the emotional power intact and the images more powerful than ever, this will be an epic experience for fans and newcomers alike."

This will be an absolutely disgusting money grab and completely irrelevant.

What a ****ing waste of time and money. I bet the meeting that greenlit this was one big, cocaine fueled circle jerk of titanic proportions.

see what I did there?

Yeah I don't care so much about this. So they rerelease it. It will be in one theatre in town and probably at one or two times a day. It won't take away from other movies nor make much money.
