I dont know why, but that word just doesnt belong in this series. BS put it in way to often. There has to be a better word than that.

It would help if the OP gave quotes of Brandon using "wicked". While RJ does use it, it's always used ironically when referring to people, and simply as "dangerous" when referring to objects, like a wicked axe. He never uses it as a synonym for "evil". So it's possible Brandon uses it differently, but examples are necessary.

RJ used it as a synonym for evil in EotW when Moraine is talking to egwene about AS, something about the men not being wicked but rather normal men driven insane
