Hey there Amega,

The staff were looking through people's requirements, to make sure the requirements were met properly. We found a few requirements that had been thought to be completed, but had to be redone/changed for it to be counted properly, and we have sorted the others out easily enough. This thread is being made for us to collectively work out what exactly needs fixing in your A Lesson in Ji'e'Toh Roleplay, so that your RP will meet the requirements.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience that this causes, but we are here to help you get this resolved so that you can keep going with your progression along the path of an Aiel Warrior as soon as possible.

Keyholder21 has been advised of what needs changing and why they do. There were no other lessons for her to compare to, she wasn't given all the information she needed that was required for the training, and it was her first training RP.

Most of what was covered was good, but the lesson should have been more in depth about what it included (the topic of ji'e'toh and how it affects day to day life). This is what would need to be done to get the requirement done, as well as the following points are the things we had noted from what you had already completed that would need changing to complete the req.

The point where Namo showed Rixan the marks on his arm. With the Aiel culture, they go to the Wise Ones for instructions to make up for/cancel out the toh, rather than punishing themselves over and over. The instruction given by the Wise One would be carried out once and then it would be completed, and you would lose the toh you had, but if you continued to punish yourself, you would then have toh to the Wise One and yourself.

Its poison has coursed through my body so many times, with the help of a beta antidote, that I am no longer affected by its weak poison.

I don't believe that there are any antidotes in the Waste, and if there were, that the Wise Ones would monitor the usage of them very carefully.

Like I've said, most of what you had written was quite good, but these are the issues with it. You can just continue on with the original lesson with Keyholder21, by editing your posts to reflect the changes we noted above (the punishment/beta remedy stuff) and adding in the new posts on how Ji'e'toh is used in the every day lives of the Aiel and why it is used in their culture to finish off your requirements. Or you can completely re-write it with these changes and additions, if you think it would be easier. The choice is yours.

Well I have no problem with re editing the post cause I have to much going on lately to do another post. And not to make a big deal but im pretty sure the antidote has already been brought to mystica's attention so has the bite marks. But tell me this if one had gone to wise ones or others and they said he had no toh and he still worked with the snakes because of this who really has the toh. Sorry but this was part of my charectars development and really don't want to change it.

P.s. I don't believe there has been a mention of an antidote in the books but that dosent mean they don't and of course wise ones could just heal the poison so I don't see the big deal.

I can understand you not wanting to change it, and have figured out a possible solution if you're willing to go with it. What if you work into your post that you went to a Wise One originally, and accepted the punishment she had given. Then, Namo could feel as if the punishment wasn't enough to make up for it, and goes with the snake bites afterwards. But, this would have serious repercussions, as you would be continuing to meet toh that has aready been considered met by the Wise Ones, and this would be considered as going against ji'e'toh. According to ji'e'toh, continuing meeting toh that has been considered met is a violation of ji'e'toh to begin with.

Only a handful of all Wise Ones in the entire Aiel nation would use Healing and then only unknowingly (much like Nynaeve did before she knew she was using the One Power). So counting on Healing from Wise Ones is not really realistic until they move to the wetlanders nations and the Car'a'carn has put Aes Sedai prisoners in their care. So during namo's training period they would use herbs and ointments and such for the most part, and with herbs being hard to come by in the Waste, they wouldn't really give out the mixtures in enough amounts as what you have described. If you can come up with a logical reason as to why Namo has it and enough of it, then it will be accepted.

I have change my mind me and mystica had a refreshing talk, its been awhile. I would. Actually like to cut out snakes intererly, antidoote, wise one beating crap from begginging im purging it all. Actually is it poossible for me to start namo over without doing all the diff. Req. I will even put in a new bio.

if that is what you would like to do, Amega, I'll discuss it with Kathleen and Arlow and I'm sure we can come to some sort of arrangement that will be mutual satisfactory.

Thank you for your willingness to work with us, hon. It's not been easy on both sides and I know we'll come to a sollution on this that will work.

well of course mystica! Also once u give me a little rough draft of what you want on the introductory thread ill get on it!!!
