BATE: Why we should/shouldnt visit your hometown

Featured Replies

Let's see...anything special about Lethbridge, which is two hours south of Calgary for those who don't know.

Well there is the Galt Museum, Fort Whoop-Up, and well then the surrounding towns and such are the best. Calgary has a Science Center, coolest place ever, Drumheller has the Royal Tyrell Museum, then the National Parks such as;Waterton, Banff, Jasper.

That's pretty much it...that I can think of anyway.

my home town is Smithers, British Columbia, Canada.

my town has just barely over 5000 people in it, but we are still very culturally diverse, with large french, indian, native, and dutch populations.

we truely have a small town mentality, and if you was to pay super high prices for clothes this is the place to go.

i love my home town, partly because my family was amoung the founders of it and have been in the area for about 120 years... but also because we're just wonderful, with beautiful mountains and plenty of excellent powder in the winter, and gorgeous lakes in the summer.

come see me!
