I used to play WoW, and I thought it was okay. I played it off and on, because it didn't seem to keep my interest. I then tried the trial for Aion, and wasn't really impressed. But then around a month ago, I started my trail for RIFT. It was so easy to learn the particulars of the game, and there are so many different things you can do with your character. I've also gotten to the highest level in this game that I've ever gotten to in an MMORPG (Level 41).

 

So I was wondering if any of you also played RIFT. If so, are you Defiant or Guardian, and what server do you play on? If you don't play, but are interested in trying it, you can do so here.

i beta tested rift. havent bought it because im still ehh on the situation. but right now they are offering to buy it for 4.99 right now.

I'm guessing when you say guild you mean your former WoW guild?

lol my bad then. Was it from a previous game though? Or a group of friends you started playing with?

Guild I was in from Age of Conan. Note, said guild was the world 1st at downing the 'final' raid boss at taht current time in that game, and we weren't a 'hard core' guild by any means. Its just one of those awesome sauce guilds that you just walk into and don't want to leave, regardless of the game.

I also have other characters in the low 20s and some on the Defiant side. I beta tested it was well.

 

I really like Rift but I have not maxed out yet. I hope they keep adding more content too. they seem to be doing a really good job with keeping player interest.

 

I also played Aion for over a year and have max level ranger there that I play every now and then. I got frustrated with Aion because of the out of control ganking and the unbalanced pvp in the Abyss. Not to mention the lack of content. Even with the new patches there just insnt that much to do once you max level and get all your gear.
