WHAT'S VERIN SEDAI UP TO?

I CAN'T FIGURE OUT FOR SURE IF SHE HAS HER OWN AGENDA OR IF SHE , LIKE ALL THE OTHERS WHO SWORE TO RAND, IS JUST HELPING IN HER OWN WAY. SHE DID ALMOST POISON CADSUANE. MOIRANE DID TRUST HER MORE THAN MOST OTHER SISTERS. SO WHO'S SIDE IS SHE ON?

Remember what was being discussed just before she left in KoD Rand had just told them the first part of one of his questions and her letter says that the only sister she is sure of is big C. In her leave taking I almost get the feeling that she is not so much checking up on Tomas as reporting to him. Probably just my imagination.

She is one of the five that Min saw who are "in Rand's hand" and will serve him in their own ways.

Well, Elza certainly wasn't what she seems, but Verin isn't a DF.

So........................ argh, my head hurts.

No she isn't. She was visiting the camps when Rand decided to drop by and visit the Sea Folk.

Elza wasnt on the sea folk ship either, she was with the tower aes sedai who swore later and Min saw that each of those will "serve Rand in her own way" (which included Surila), and Elza does serve Rand, she thinks it doesnt interfer with her being a DF.

A conclusion that is the result of her trying to rationalize her position. She was compelled into following Rand, remember.

Is it just me or does Verin act more like a blue ajah than brown? She has the far away look whenever someone is paying attention to her but almost every time I read something of her a character gets a glimpse of her looking everything but pre-occupied. Verin states in the path of daggers (I am probably remembering the wrong chapter) that all her notes that she carries around with her are in fact a code. She isn't studying nature she is planning something. In TGH she goes out of her way to meet up with Rand & Ingtar instead of simply going back to the white tower. Verin is constantly getting her hands dirty and getting involved in the lifes of the Two Rivers folk. Where as most browns would be observing she is getting involved and she is constantly meddling in propper Blue Ajah fashion. She compells the captured Aes Sedai to swear fealty. She convinces Rand to use the portal stone. She is even prepared to kill Cadsuane in order to help Rand. Doesn't that sound like a Blue?I cant think of any time that Verin has actually acted like a typical brown unless it was to make an off hand comment seemingly without thaught that shocks someone into her way of thinking
