I know it's been a while (it looks like you left about the time I joined!), but do you remember how much of the initiation rp's you finished? The usual run is: 1st petition (which you would've been rejected at), the tour of the Green Halls, Battle Weaves, Midnight Vigil and 2nd Petition (which is a really big party). These have become optional since then, but it'll give me a good idea of where you'll fall with respect to Defender ranks and mentoring (once you're comfy... no rush!).

Hello! Thank you for all of the welcomes back. None of the ritual you described is familiar. Back in my day, joining an Ajah and being raised to the shawl was a much less formal matter. At least we knew about the Oath Rod! Basically, just let me know if I need to write some ret con stuff for Markieta.

All of that stuff has become voluntary, actually, though it's rp'd as if it's been done. The only thing that it really counts towards is Defender ranks and BRS (formerly Weapon Scores). If you want to do any of it, let me know and we'll find a way to retro it for you since everyone around here would've been just about your age when you went through it, probably a little younger! Check out the Defender Ranks thread for details about that in-House Green program to decide whether it's something you're interested in working on. :)

I'll check it out. Still working on that bridge RP. Had a rash of unexpected interviews and books demanding to be read, but I'll get back on track soon.
