Hi, I am new to Dragonmount, and I have only recently began reading the WoT serries. I am just on book three but I am eager to finish them. I am also doing a book club blog at www.worldscollide.us. I read fantasy and science fiction books and discuss how these genres deal with issues we face everyday. Right now I am doing blogs on the first book "Wheel of Time". I would love to get comments from people, who have really delved into these books.

Welcome worldscollide, I too am new to Dragonmount, but I can guarantee you will find no shortage of people who have "really delved into these books". That much I very quickly discovered after joining.

 

At least you didn't make the same mistake I did, thinking you had to avoid this site for fear of seeing spoilers, this place is very well managed to avoid that happening to you by placing warnings on every section & topic.

 

As others will tell you, there is much more to this place than the comments of fans, you should check out the Social Side & Role-Playing sections as well. I don't really know much about them myself, but the Staff & other members will be more than happy to help you from what I've seen so far.

 

Above all else, welcome to the community! For me at least, every new member is someone else to discuss the books with!

You have found what I believe is the very best fan forum and message board for a fictional series of books. Stick around here long enough, and I can promise you that not only will you meet cool and interesting people online, but also that you will become friends with some whom you regularly interact. Dragonmount also has roleplay forums for those whom want to immerse themselves in character into the most fascinating fantasy world ever created, the world of Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time.
