Yeah, you see that's the problem with civies and soldiers...

 

Even if they're strong enough to make a gateway, they forget that they can't travel back from the Blight without studying the landscape first. Which is difficult to do while fending off hordes of trollocs.

Well, actually, it seems that you can learn a place by channeling Saidin or Saidar. After using the Bowl of Winds, the people in the circle would have been able to create a gateway. And maybe I just have a great talent with gateways... And if I couldn't have made one, well, then it was just imagining that seemed to be real because of the Taint.

And, don't forget, I didn't close the gateway.

And it's much easier to sit on a couch, eating oranges and grapes.

But how to defeat the Shadow and serve the M'hael, in that case?

by eating all their grapes and causing them food shortages!
