It's mentioned in ToM that the Aelfinn and Eelfinn are at times in war with each other. How would this work? Do they just slaughter each other there or what? Discuss

Unless I have completely lost my mind, there is no mention of any kind of war between them. Birgitte says that they have a strange relationship, and are not always working together. That is very, very far from war.
