Haha yes that, and because there aren't normally so many activities going on at once on the front page. The Discussion ended as the month is ending, and I moved another pinned one to a different board. The fact that a Mafia game and Channeling class are going on make it more as well.

Probably to give who ever has to count up the points time to do so without people adding posts to it.

It's very easy. Go to the main board, then click on the number of replies. For this thread, for example, 34 now. Then you see how much everyone posted in the thread.

It's not that simple, you don't want to count posts that are either off topic or which don't contribute to the discussion.

Well, I think we first put shockwave up there on the main page for something fun we could do with visitors to help increase membership. When each Org had a purpose, we were considered the 'Gaming Org' so we needed game related discussion on the main page. I'm not sure if that's still a requirement of the Admins or not. If we don't get much attention from non-members in that thread, then I don't see the point of it being on the main page.
