but they're so briney and slippery and wonderful with the lemon and the hot sauce... like eating eyeballs in gazpacho......... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm........... eyeballs...............

They're slimy like ooze. And chewy at the same time.

 

Sometimes, I think someone invented the aphrodisiac story to sell them as food. Cause I don't think people would eat them otherwise.

i thought it was because they reminded people of.... eyeballs.
