Oooh slingshots are fun!

Necessary around here- a .22 loaded with rat-shots... very good for smallish snakes, bigger snakes however, not so much.

The bush knives we used to have for getting through the jungles. Although they can still be useful here in the States. Rest is mostly just for fun.

I used to have a slingshot. Made the mistake of testing it's strength in my room. >.>

But some wooden dowels. (think that's what they're called?) Cut up a t-shirt into strips. Use the strips to tie the wood together at the handle and tip. Cover the end in tiki torch fluid and light in fire. Makes a cool light saber noise when you swing it. :myrddraal: (Additionally, you can get a super soaker, put some flammable liquid in it, and tie it to the handle to add a flamethrower onto your weapon)

you are quite the dark one. i like :)

you know, you can get 30 easy SG points just for doing bad things in my name in the nae'blis thread and telling me abnout them? you could start with pickaxes. or anyting.

I eatz them.

I have a friend who is very pyroey. He asked me to get him a flamethrower for Christmas in exchange for him not burning my house down.

.... watch out if he starts torturing animals... not a good combo.

but i think it's very natural to play with fire. humans been enjoying fire forever

Locke, your friend should come live out here.

I've spent the last week having incredible fun lighting all the paddocks on fire! It's burnoff season and I'm loving it! Still aren't even half done yet!!

We've got this super-nifty-incrdibly-fun toy called a firebug. You fill it up with a mix of 1 part petrol to 2 parts diesel. It's got a copper pipe running out of the tank which has a sort of cylindrical wick on the end of it and basically you throw a match on the wick and stroll casually through the paddocks leaving a perfect line of fire behind you. It's so much fun! I've been writing my name with it and making cool paterns, and if you hold it up off the ground and swing it around you send little flaming drops of fuel flying through the air!

Complete and utter pyromaniac here! lol

Haha yep! My boss thinks I'm having way too much fun with it, ie: crazy. Perhaps I should tell him about the taint...

Nah, I like my job

He just messaged me this a couple days ago:

Okay, I seem to have found my word. I didn't like "pyromaniac" because that means "an irresistible impulse to start fires" and that just sounds bad...Like I want to start peoples homes on fire....NO. so I found it. the perfect word to describe me and fire. "Pyrophile" meaning: "one enthusiastic over fire or fireworks" now that's me. I'm "enthusiastic" about it, not creepy start stuff on fire everywhere I go pyromaniac.

One time we were camping on a hill next to a fire we had made. But it was slanted and we couldn't sleep so we had to move. But he argued very hard against it because he didn't want to leave 'his fire' since he was too attached to it. >.>

i usually have to use tinder and a twiggy substrate, and a match. wish i could just channel it. but i channel water. sometimes air. but mainly water.
