[i had three scenes in my mind as for where it could happen (one in TGS, one in TDR and one in TSR). Funny how it could be like any Mat+Thom scene :)]

I'm pretty sure it's to Thom. I think in TSR.

Yep, it's TSR, not TDR :) You're right...again.

I was thinking at the scene in Tar Valon, when Mat finds Thom in a very bad condition, and some ladies are upset he offered him wine.

But it's in Thom's room, after the triple bubble of evil targeted at the taveren.

Mat.

I'm pretty sure it's to Thom. I think in TSR.

And csarmi got both right first! :) Close one, though. so, yeah, 2 points added to csarmi's poll.

Blademaster is still on the lead, though. But csarmi is catching up

Sorry for the delay in posting new quotes. Apparently, I need to sleep on occasions. I know, I know. I'm weak >.<

Next quote:

"You can't afford to chase her away." Actually, he/she did not think fifty Myrddraal and a thousand Trollocs could chase Cadsuane anywhere but the point was the same.

Min to Rand?

Min is indeed the one who said it :D 1 point to Daruya!!!

Min in Path of Daggers?

Yep, the book is Path of Daggers! 1 point to Blademaster!!!

Damn, guys. You're all so quote savvy it's starting to get scary >.>

Next quote:

"First things first; take care of what can be done now before worrying too long over what might never be."

After several re-reads, it gets easier ;)

Unfortunately, I just started to read the series several years ago, after I managed to get all the books, so I usually mess some things up and have to think very hard to remember in which book they did/said something.

For example, this sounds a lot like Verin, but about the book...

This is one of my favorite quotes!

LoC - Ch 11 - Verin to herself

Alanna was there, this was moments after she bonded Rand. But Verin was thinking this quote to herself before talking to Alanna at the inn.

That is very much correct!!! 1 point!

Verin with Alanna in Lord of Chaos.

Lord of Chaos is indeed the right book. 1 point!

New quote:

_____ did not even blink. The man would not show surprise if one day his horse spoke to him.

Note: A bit of a twist! Insert the name of the character in the blank and, of course, the name of the book this was said in ;)

Lan, but I don't know what book. It just sounds like Lan, or what someone would think about him!

Evil

I think it's from Lord of Chaos(a chapter with Niall and Morgasse)

But the name is of a fodder guy(or so I think), and although I think I read that part on several occasions, didn't bothered to memorize the guy's name.

EDIT: @Daruya. Mandarb will never talk in front of Lan without his master's consent, so he's not the one.

1 point to Blademaster for guessing the correct BOOK! :D

However, the name of the character is not just fodder guy. As a hint I will say that it's not one of the main characters, but he's a character that does appear quite a bit throughout the books and not someone who was just mentioned once.

If I remember correctly it is Balwer?

If it was Balwer, I take my 'fodder' comment back. The guy had his uses after he cut his ties with the Children and went to Perrin's camp.

  • Author

It was Balwer! 1 point to Rhea ^_^ Amazing!

Next quote:

______ was not sure which of the two men was more deadly, but he thought a mouse could starve on the difference.

Note: Same as before. Fill in the blank and guess the book this quote is from.

I just read the chapter several hours ago :)(Hope it doesn't count as cheating)

Perrin in The Shadow Rising.

  • Author

No, checking the books is not cheating lol Googling is a whole different matter.

Both of your answers are correct, blademaster! 2 points ^_^

Next quote:

"How do you know when a woman wants to kill you?" Rand mused.

"When she knows your name?" ________ did not sound as if he were joking

Note: Fill in the missing character name and point out the book this quote is taken from.
