Remember about six months ago I posted asking if anyone had read this author? Well, since then, I've read 6 or 7 of her books and let me tell out... outstanding. They are AMAZING. I couldn't put the first trilogy I read down.

 

The first ones I read were in one volume called Lilith's Children, but the individual books in order are called Dawn, Adulthood Rites, and Imago. Absolutely amazing work. Great, tight, prose, wonderful characters and an amazing and HIGHLY original plot. I absolutely loved it and have been recommending it to everyone I know who reads fantasy/sci-fi.

 

Then, I picked up another series, which I sort of read out of order, but it didn't matter, because the books were set hundreds of years apart. The ones I read for that, were, in chronological order, Wild Seed, Mind of My Mind, and Patternmaster. (I read them Mind of My Mind, Patternmaster, and then Wild Seed and thought it was still great.)

 

I currently have Kindred from the library sitting on my shelf, it's next after the current book I am reading, which should be 1-2 days at the rate it's going. So, anyone who has read her... what did you think? I adore her.
