Rumor is he will play a Starfleet instructor but who knows... maybe Kirk.

But does Star Trek really has the fundings to be able to afford Cruise?

Considering the last film did not too well at the box office they maybe looking for a big name to get the audiences in the cinema....after all that's what its all about.

 

It would also depend how much he wanted to be in Star Trek....(bit like Samuel L Jakson wanting desparately to be in Star Wars... he went to them to get in). If that was the case he may not ask for usual price to be in it.

 

Mind you Spook would be a major role.

I am frightened! I am going to see this movie now just to laugh. Will there be Snakes on Enterprise?
