why should we set up temp boards when we have this?

you wouldnt happen to have some of the info that was on the site saved to your computer, would you?

nothing should be lost. Unless there was a massive server crash and everything was completely erased including the backups that are stored in different places I seriously doubt we lost much information. May have lost a few days of posts but it's a small price to pay.

 

The site information is backed up in several locations... one being my harddrive except the changes Lyv made which were relatively minor.

 

Don't worry about lost information it's all relatively safe.

and its back. dont ask me for how long, but the site is now up and running again. i suggest everyone get the info they need along with any other tidbits, cause we dunno when it might go down again...

the only information that isn't on the site I gave earlier is the message board info and anything in the database.

 

I will try to get the swordforms and the armory posts with in the next few days. Thank god for copies on my HD.

Most of the site is now functioning ...

 

Just an FYI, this will eventually be our new home. You may start using the message boards, however I might wipe the DB clean and things might get lost and your username might go as well.

chrissy has a point about some of us not checking here often... i happen to be guilty of that crime too :D thanks for the site link!

and checking a brand new site is going to help that? Temp boards are not needed when we have this board at DM.
