Not that Puck. It is once again Hockey season. We have quite a few Canadians and Northeasterners here on DM. I believe many of you are Hockey fans. How do you like your teams chances this year? I hope that my team( LA Kings) will make it to the playoffs.

believe me, nobody that starts a thread in the BT minds it being trolled spammed. nobody. i only ever saw one person complain of it and he was having... growing pains.

even i'd enjoy that. i actually kind of like hockey, though i could care less for teams or what all. i just like how the men skate like graceful fairy princesses and then beat the crap out of each other. it's such a lovely juxtaposition of weirdnesses.

That is one of the great things about hockey is beauty of the skating, opposed by the contact. Then there is the mad witch-like skills of the great scorers. Not to mention the goalies crazy contortions to make saves.

I probably would like hockey if i bothered to pay attention to sports in general. It is kind of like soccer, which is my favorite sport. I dislike football because its much less dynamic.

it's fun to watch a game, unlike baseball, and it's not necessary to know anything baout the teams to enjoy it. just skate, dance, smash, blood, zamboni, skate, and so on.

Hockey is very fast. I like to watch, but could never skate well enough to play.

What the puck? Hockey already? I'm sure I'd be more of a hockey fan if I lived closer to St. Louis, but out where I live hockey just isn't a big deal. (but yeah, if they ever make it to the Stanley Cup, I'll jump on the bandwagon and bleed blue!)

 

 

Besides the Cardinals are in the NLCS. Nothing else matters atm especially since Vettel won the championship this morning!

Yeah, I think it was 4-2 or something like that. tough road trip.

we were a scoring machine on this european trip beating Anaheim 4-1 and you guys 4-2 lol.

Yeah. Sabres plyed well both games. Just be glad Cincinati doesn't have a NHL team.

Had I been part of DM during the Vancouver 2010 Olympics...I might have gone crazy Canadian fan *nods* But I'm not going to...yet. IF my team doesn't make it to the playoffs I'll go for the closest Canadian team to me because a Canadian team hasn't won Stanley since 1993! This is the year we will win it back *nods to self*
