Happy Fall, ya'll!!!

 

What's your favorite part of this time of year?

My favorite part is...all of it! I love Halloween, apples, roasting marshmellows for S'mores, that golden tint in the sky as the sun sinks below the horizon... All of it!

Only one? How about several? Umm.... cool, brisk weather, brightly colorful fall leaves (okay so that doesn't really happen much where I live now, but where I grew up they were gorgeous!), enjoying hot chocolate and curling up with a book and listening to the autumn rain. Camping while the weather is somewhere between *Hotter than Death Valley (that actually happened in Oklahoma this summer)* and *Wanna be an Eskimo?* The ability to take a long walk outside without the weather trying to kill me (most of the time) is quite enjoyable.

 

This morning, when I walked my son to the bus stop, the grass was shimmering white and gold, touched with frost, and the sun came through the trees bathing everything in soft yellow light. It was so.... transcendental.

Here! I love Halloween and being able to dress up

I like the moderate weather, the ability to actually spend time outdoors, and that around this time I get one day with an extra hour to get stuff done (or sleep). :D

Still outside weather plus trees start changing colours, got bonded this month in the WT, pumpkin pie (though I didn't get any thing year *sniffles*), Halloween. That's my favorite parts of October!

I love this month. I like the crisp smell of October air and the chill of the world *finally* starting to cool down.

I like the cooler weather and camping - this is also my favorite time of year to snuggle in a warm blanket and read a good book.

My dear sweet Kin, how much I miss you all you'll never know. :(

I like the crispness and smell of leaves in the air :) bonfires on cold night are nice too
