Why'd you join the BT?

Featured Replies

I joined because why not.

Basically, I had found DM when I googled 'wheel of time', and some of the stuff on here looked cool. Then I went to the forums, introduced myself, went 'oh hey the Black Tower. That's gotta be kinda cool.'

And it was. And now i'm insane. -er. And actually, i thought it might be connected to the RP as well. Which is sort of is, maybe, a little. But now I'm stuck here forever. Which is a good thing.

It is also an interesting story how I found Dragonmount...

I once googled (wait. I thought that was an official verb. It is in Dutch at least) Wheel of Time, and I found WoTwikia. So, after some time hanging around there, it became a bit boring, so I went to the page where the fan sites were listed, and found Theoryland. After reading theories, I found the forums on Theoryland (I don't like the way they work, by the way. Hard to find your way), and someone had "as each thread on Dragonmount grows longer, the probability it turns into an Egwene hate thread approaches 1". So I became interested in DM. I didn't like it for the first few minutes, but it changed when I found the tab "forums" (at that point, I didn't even knew what it meant). And so I came here. Here I am. I am ready.

*snickers*

Yeah, that sounds like a correct interpretation of Godwin's Law for DM. We seem to be exempt though.

Exempt means excluded from. It doesn't apply to us. Usually is a good thing to me exempt from something (has a positive connotation.... trying to think of a better word for "connotation" in case you don't know what that one either... Hmm...)

good one!

It has a positive implication :P so... As I said before is usually a good thing to be "exempt" where to be "banned" is bad, though they're basically the same thing (don't have to do it vs. not being allowed to do it)

Well, I must tell you that Egwene is a perfect character. She just never makes mistakes, is ideal, the best character of the series, and every who does not think about it like this, [removed]

No, you should take the role of Egwene-hater.

I'm a member of that group!
