Lady, I know what you mean! In the evenings here, there's enough humidity to turn the air a golden yellow. It looks like old film stock in a movie. I love being outside when its like that!

The whole weekend was gorgeous! (Which is good because I spent it outside with my son's Cub Scout troop at Spook-o-ree.) We had a good time.

Awesome! I'm looking forward to the girls being a little older so they can do this stuff, too! :)

 

What's Spook-o-ree?

It's a Halloween Themed Cub Scout weekend camp-out they have in our area with all sorts of themed arts and crafts, a carnival, a haunted forest trail (that led into an old Quonset hut) put on by the older boy scouts, and then all sorts of outdoor activities like rowing, fishing, BB gun shooting, archery, and rock climbing and repelling.

That sounds cool! A camp out and a fall festival at the same time! Sounds like a lot of fun!

I had a lovely weekend with family :)

Yeah? What did ya do?

Just relaxed and had a party for my cousin and helped my grandma cook and played card games... Just spent time together :)

Fun! I miss that kind of time with family. The in-laws aren't the best at family stuff. :(

:( I has two huge families (each side is big) so I have a lot of family fun

I'm trying to start a bit of that around here with this small family. I'm afraid it may just be a "me and the girls" thing, though.

 

 

Ah, well. Peanut and I made rice crispy treats this morning!
