Is the movie Wolf Creek any good. My past experiences with Australian movies have been they sent their crap to the US trying to pass it off as good. :x

I'd like to know before I possible rent it to watch tonight.

Its apparently one of the scariest mood horror films made!

Yeah its pretty gross..

I rented it. Now I'm afraid to go to Australia! I wasn't going anytime soon but would like to go someday. I went to wikipedia to see what the "true events were" and saw several possible cases where a creepy Australian was killing tourists.

 

And not even the cities seem to be safe anymore, I saw a movie preview were this Asian martial arts warrior is going to "the most wretched and evil city" and they showed Sydney. I also heard something about gangs of sword weilding hoodlums. :shock:

That should be no problem for a big scary Aiel, eh Kaznen? Just think of them as treekillers.

But I like Australians. :(

I always thought Australia was a cool country. Almost as cool as the US, after AU would be GB, then Ireland, Iceland....then all the other nations of the world are generally on the same level.

Plus we are totally way cooler then the US... i mean common... dinosaurs!

Trust me MnM, you'll love Australia. The cultural diversity is amazing. Sydney and Melbourne will sing in your blood.

Sydney's a nice city but there seems to be alot of tramps about!

Well there was when I went, there was this one tramp that would go to the same bin the same time everyday outside my hotel, it doesnt really say alot for me to actually notice this but still..........

Like men who are down on there luck, I know most cities will probably be like this but I dont live in a big city so it just came as a shock.........
