Locke, you have defended more people than just Wombat. You kind of defended me for instance, and also Poet and even Maw as well if I'm not mistaken. You did fling some FOS's earlier in the game, but lately you'vcused on trying to bail others out.

 

I'm sorry, but you're gonna need to go get some quotes to back this up. Because what you're describing does not even closely coincide with my thought process while I've been posting in this game. (and I'm PRETTY sure my posts reflect that)

We have 19 hours until deadline by my count. That isn't much time, especially on the weekend, so I am going to reveal now. I am an Inventor. I can give players items that give one-shot abilities. Last night I targeted myself and got a bulletproof vest. Talya would not tell me if it has been used or not (I asked as soon as I saw that there was no kill). I will continue to target myself for now in the hopes of getting an investigation item. Please do not lynch me.

Hoof(or anyone else), how common is it that an inventor is allowed to keep their inventions? It was unclear in what I've read on the role. Also would the vest be for that night only? It just sounds odd to me.

 

not sure on if inventors can give to themselves, it all depends on how Talya tweaked the role. but given what Wombat has said, that its a one shot use, i'm thinking the vest will be with him until it's used (ie: until someone tries to NK him)

 

 

 

also and FYI, i'm still gonna be lurkerish this game until after thanksgiving. have to focus on work since the shortened work week and will be on LoA from Thurs till next Mon. i'll try to get on, but no promises.

Is it just me or is everyone kind of deflated on this game now that the cop's dead? Hopefully we end up learning a lot once night phase passes

its a bump in the road but not the end all be all. we still have a chance to pull it through, hopefully theres a back up or a different investigating role is all.

There's almost always only one cop, however there can be other investigative roles or possibly even a backup cop, known as a deputy, which can become a cop if the cop is killed.
