Unseen Watchers in Tel'aran'rhiod

Featured Replies

So Luckers had posted a theory about the unseen watchers in Tel'aran'rhiod as being the Big Unnoticed Thing. This might not have ended up being the case, but it still begs the question about what they are.

I have a theory which probably has been put forward before. It's a little anticlimactic, but it makes sense.

They're the Heroes of the Horn keeping an eye on things in T'A'R.

Birgitte kept up on what was going on in T'A'R, I'm sure there aren't many people who are aware they're in there, so someone showing up multiple times with some knowledge of the way the World of Dreams works would probably get the attention of the Heroes. Also, I noticed, a lot of times these watchers were seen was right before a character had an interaction with Brigitte.

Weird that no one else responded, but that usually means there isn't a lot to add... meaning a good theory. I've often wondered why we only ever saw 2 heroes in TEL, and the "unseen eyes" would answer this nicely!!

They're the Heroes of the Horn keeping an eye on things in T'A'R.

I agree its the Heroes, but not that theyre keeping an eye on things. Theyre supposed to not get involved whatsoever, so I think theyre just observing. Keeping an eye on things make it sound like theyre planning something, which I think would be against the rules.
