It's december! :D

 

Sooo. Anybody else got an advent calendar? Do you think there is an age limit to advent calendars?

 

I got a christmas tree chocolate today

My daughter has four different advent calendars. I have none. But there should never be an age limit to have one.

Me and my daughter made these advent calendars a few years back. There were decorated. Each year we get them out and fill the drawers (1 for each day) with chocolate. You are never too old for advent calendars

I was planning on stopping by the store and picking one up. Gotta love the chocolate. :)

What are these things?

I'd buy one but I always just open all the slots and eat all the chocolate when I get home..

We always had these little bags sewn to a large tapestry-like thingy, which we then hung on our walls by our beds. Mum filled them with all kinds of sweets and interesting but useless kiddy toys. Or sometimes something useful. But none this year I'm not gonna be around for much of the holidays, and my mom and littlest two brothers are going to Germany for Xmas.

 

Lurv chocolate tho. But if we had all-choc advent calendars - they would most likely melt!

We something like it but it doesn't come with chocolate or candy or anything like that. Its got a Christmas Tree on it with little pipecleaner hooks all over it and then the 1-25 under it and 25 little felt ornaments that cover the numbers. Each day you take on ornament off the number and decorate the tree. On the 25th all the ornaments are on the tree and the final star goes up on top!

 

Actually this year we lost a few of the felt ornaments so I'm about to head off and make some new ones with my daughter.

I don't have one this year but have other years.

 

It's the most wonderful time.... of the year......

We only get 24 since we celebrate Christmas on Christmas eve.

Ours always is 24, even though we celebrate on 25th
