Sassisam Blog has posted up the first two official promotional stills from Baz Luhrmann's "The Great Gatsby" adaptation at Warner Bros. Pictures.

 

The project has been shooting the past few months in Sydney and stars Carey Mulligan (Daisy), Leonardo DiCaprio (Jay Gatsby) and Tobey Maguire (Nick Carraway) and though there's been numerous set photos, this marks the first time we've seen proper stills. The movie is scheduled to open next December.

 

 

 

So stoked to see this!

I'm torn. I love this book, and am horrified of what they may do to it. I do like Leo as Gatsby though, and he's been kicking out a few great movies lately

I am the opposite... I hated the book but I think a movie could improve it.
