What's your favourite accent? Do you have one that stands out from your friends?

My favourite accent is the Irish accent.

My accent wouldn't stand out if I didn't live in Devon XD I have the same accent as the guy who plays Chuck Bass in Gossip Girl (he's British, for anyone who doesn't know) and can't think of a female alternative =/

Maybe Emma Watson? =/ Different tone of voice though.

i'm torn between southern and irish. i think for patriotism... and gone with the wind... i'd have to pick southern if i had to pick.

but... the sharing thing could solve the need to pick splendidly.

If I said the town you wouldn't know it, it's that small. You know Bideford or Torrington? I'm 20miles (ish) from both.

I only really know the high street and college in Barnstaple but it is a nice place. =)

No. I've lived here (on and off) 17 years but never picked it up. I've got more of a Lancashire accent. My brother is the only member of my family who is Devonshire. I move around, mainly back and forth from Blackpool, mum is from Yorkshire and my stepdad is from London =)

Personally, I'm not keen on West Country accents full stop.

Yeah, except it leaves me feeling like I'm the one who's thick XD

.... I can't believe there are so many different English accents. you know we can't even tell them from Australian in general...
