Week 2 of the Band of the Red Hand's new activity, and hopefully I will pick a song that actually charts in the Top 40 of the UK singles charts!

 

The Chart Game

This is a simple game open to Banders and DMers alike. Each week, I will post a thread with a new release in the UK singles charts along with a link to a music video so you can listen to the song. All you need to determine is where the song will chart on Sunday when the UK Official Chart is announced on Sunday. You need to pick between 1 to 40, or "does not chart". No chart place can be picked twice. And there will be prizes for the winner.

 

The Prizes

Winner (exact spot) - 4 Promotion Points

Winner (not exact spot) - 2 Promotion Points

 

Should there be a tie, for example, the song charts at number 7, but two Banders have picked 5 and 9 (i.e. both are 2 places away up and down), they will both get the winnings.

I'm going with Does Not Chart after what happened to her on SNL (and yes, I do pay attention to some things haha) and based on the fact that I can barely listen to a minute of this....

I have just looked at the Official UK Singles Top 100 Charts, and Born To Die by Lana Del Rey charted at number 14.
