Just finished the climax of the Gathering Storm. Amazing!...anyway. I REALLY like the new ebook cover art. Does TOR intend to publish new editions in the conventional format (you know...real books) using the new cover art?

Not as of yet. There's been some talk of after AMoL is out. We'll see.

I wish the whole series would be released looking exactly like that both in paperback and hardcover. I can't praise the ebook covers enough. They are simply stunning, and very faithful to the descriptions in the books. I couldn't have hoped for anything better.

 

I'm sure you saw the new paperback covers in today's news (http://www.dragonmount.com/index.php/News/book-news/new-cover-artwork-us), and although I don't like that they're cropped, its still promising with regards to possible new hardcovers. Crossing my fingers for those looking exactly like the ebooks with the art more prominently featured.
