On Thursday, November 16, 2006 Data393 (One of our data center facilities providers) will be performing some essential power infrastructure maintenance that will result in downtime for certain servers.

 

Purpose of Work: Upgrade to power infrastructure. Impact of Work: Loss of power. Description of Work: During this maintenance Window, Data393 will be relocating the power distribution panel that powers all of our servers in our private cage. During this maintenance window, we will be cleanly shutting down all servers, moving the power panel, and then powering all servers back up in a controlled manner. We estimate that it will take 60-75 minutes to move the power panel. The rest of the maintenance window has been allocated so that we have enough time to cleanly power off the servers and power them back on.
