Our family is spreading around the world and I want to make a family get together place that's based around a family cookbook thing.

 

The idea is that we would put up recipes of dishes that each person in the family is known for, with photos of them, and a short little blurb about them. This could expand into also putting up a simple family tree. I would like this all to be very simple and uncluttered, and easy for people to add to.

 

Can anyone recommend a theme / theme options, etc, that would work for this?

Most themes are generally the same, I rate you try them out to see what you like best and what seems most simple.

I find the cleanest themes (ie facebook compared to myspace) are things like Coraline, Automattic, TwentyTen, TwentyEleven.

So you can change them around whenever you want, Ty? Or do you need to experiment first before really starting your project?

Yeah I definitely echo the TwentyTen and TwentyEleven. They're my favorite. Very simple and easy to adapt!!!!
