I first read The Eye of the World waaaaaay back in junior high and I've loved the series since then. While it has been some time since I've read the early books I'll be starting the reread this weekend and I'm looking forward to it.

I don't believe I've ever been a member here for some reason, but I did hang out in #tarvalon on EF Net back in the day if anyone else remembers that. :-)

Anyway!

It's good to be here and I look forward to meeting everyone and becoming an active member of the community!

Welcome to DM Topher!! Im dice and im a bit of an oldtimer around here so if you have questions just ask!

So whats your fav book and fav character?

I suggest you check out the Social Orgs!! thats where the denizens of DM hangout chat spam and have fun!!! Each Org has a reason for being and are based off various groups from the books!

So look around jump right in and have fun!

Welcome Topher!!

Yay for rereads! I am holding off on starting my next one until the fall, because I know how fast I'll burn through everything, and I want to finish close to when AMOL is released.

I'd like to second what Dice there suggested - if you want to get involved around here, don't miss the social groups! It's a great way to meet some awesome people, and there is a LOT of fun to be had there.

It's hard choosing a favorite book, but if I had to make a choice I'd probably go with The Eye of the World. It started it all for me oh so many years ago. Picking a favorite character is even more difficult. I suppose I'd go with Juilin. Huzzah for thief-catchers!

I'll also be sure to catch out the social groups. Likely after I finish doing yard work. Boo yard work.

Hi and welcome to DM, Topher! Nice that you found this site :)

Juilin? Well, that's interesting! He's never been one of my own favorites, but neither do I hate him or something.

Who is your least favorite character?

Feel free to ask if you've got any questions. I hope you'll like it here! :)
