BG's replacing Tina?

 

Oh fantastic. I was just about to vote when Heart announced she was being replaced.

 

Upon re-reading the people who have stood out the most to me were Taltos, EP, Nya, Volke and Tina.

 

Taltos and Volke, being brand new to the game and already having taken a good amount of heat, I'll let go for now. Hopefully they'll get the noob mistakes out of the way Day 1, but will be watching them.

 

Nya... well, she's trying to play the noob card herself a bit, but she's got enough games under her belt now to where she shouldn't be getting away with being all over the map now.

 

EP was definitely pinging, but even more so was Tina.

 

I honestly don't see what Turin said as all that scummy, and her focus on him seemed a bit.. excessive. I was thinking this morning that her lynch would provide the most information, since there has been quite a lot swirling about there.

 

And now that BG's replacing her... well, welcome to the game, good sir.

See what happens when you give newbies breaks? They can't even tell their behavior is erratic. No offense Nya but you come off as kind of a spaz and it's hard to tell when to take you seriously.

Well crap people. 43 pages on Day 1. I just read it all. And Crap people, I don't even know what to think. I started quoting things, and then I realized I had over 40 quotes stockpiled and decided to dump it and started over from more recent posts. These cases would build up on people and then disappear for seemingly no reason, or people who I think were acting severely out of place keep getting passes for reasons I can't figure out. One person gives a simple "Nah, I don't reeeaaally think they are scummy..." and everyone is like, well, OK then! and unvotes.

 

Weird overreactions, fake claims, real claims, misunderstandings of roles, blah blah blah, sheesh. I come in and I've got the largest train when, speaking objectively, I thought Tina's casings seemed perfectly fine though I didn't necessarily agree with them completely. *faugh*

This is the single most suspicious post of the game. "I'm genuine, except when I'm random." That says nothing and is not a good response to the questions posed to you.

 

"I have a power that will vet me. Do you want to risk that?" Umm.... I don't get how that's a risk now. You just told the mafia you have a great power that made you a target. Whether you tell us or not, you put yourself on a mafia watchlist. If you want to make yourself a target, then great. Sometimes that is a valid strategy.

I just realized that I never addressed this on thread: I reviewed what the "hint" was and though it was pokemon related I didn't see it as something which specifically pertained to this game. (In case you really want to know, Firebird was asked what his favorite was and he said that it was, at the moment, Psyduck. Considering that there was a stretch of time about a year ago when my favorite pokemon changed about every ten minutes, I do not think he was trying to connect the comment to the game. If he comes forward and admits that he was, he'll get one of my PRs. )

Well, pretty much any game Blackhoof is mafia, but I guess that doesn't count. My Earthbound mafia had 2 in one day. I think Christine was taken out as mafia in a game a long while back on Day 1. I've been in too many games I can't remember, but I've seen it happen a few times. Maybe like 1 in 10, but it happens.

Yeah ... that was me :) And I think I nailed 2 on day 2 recently also, because we didnt really get a day 1 cos it got ended quick. In my Sith game they got Kate on Day 2, but again it was ended quick on day 1.

 

so basically, it happens more often than you might think, especially if you don't just roll over and vote for any old random player because you might as well 'cos it's only day 1.
