Loke, did you get a response from the Moddess stating that your protect had failed or is it just a guess cause you tried to protect her and then she died anyway?

I find it convenient that the cop just happened to check the person that died. Easy to get that read. No chance of being cc'd.

I switched the actions directed at BG and Ithi, so it is in fact my fault that Ithi died but it prottected BG

 

I did not understand my role, originally I thought it swapped their targets so sense I had thought Ithi mafia for her play d1 I targetted her and BG so BG would read Ithi's target and Ithi would do whatever to BG's target

 

but like I said I misunderstood my role which ended up helping us in the long run.

I have to agree that I feel we are going the wrong way but am not sure who to go after next.

I am not "vetting" anyone off these actions. It is a known mafia tactic to send the kill on one person and then switch the kill to someone else to get around doc protection. In this case it would go some distance to try to give townie cred to both BG and EP.

 

I find it hard to believe that EP did not understand his role. For now I will give him the benefit of the doubt though. If he did and thought Ithi truly mafia, then it would make sense to switch a mafia player with the claimed cop in order to protect said cop. So he could have just phrased it that way.

 

Not sure how I feel about all this yet. I think the results of actions taken tonight will go some way towards where my vote goes in the morning.

you think I would have admitted to redirecting it had I been mafia? look at it this way based on meta my role is more often than not a mafia aligned role, and no one even suspected me, why would I come out and admit it was my fault if I was mafia?

That is valid but could also be a grand cover. I have done it before. It keeps people from testing you in the game. With that in mind, who would you lynch tomorrow? Also, why?

I'm not sure atm Arez was my number 1 pick but atm I'm leaning towards you for trying to fish out our targets so that the mafia will know who is safe to target

a role is what you make it, my role is dificult to use as a townie but not impossible don't discredit what you have just because you don't see a use for it right now you may find a use for it down the line

Oh no I mean it has the potential to be useful but it's use is liable to be my death tbh.
