Defensive weaves?

Featured Replies

Leala asked for this class and I can't find a list of what we are going to do for it. I started off with Alarm ward, but what else should I do??? Got any ideas? And would an Accepted learn severing? I don't think so, but it COULD be a defensive weave?

Are there no old classes around somewhere that you can use as an example?

Oh and I don't think Severing can be counted as a defensive weave - that would be like saying chopping someone's head off was a defensive move ... lol

The various shields, like a wall of Air or a bubble of Earth and Air (that one that keeps everything out including breathable air), possibly. Wards against Shadowspawn or against everything (not very practical), maybe. Weaves to cut off hostile weaves. Shielding.

Anybody else have any ideas?

No, this is the first time I think we've done it. Usually we have the "Green Accepted" learn the blow things up weaves when they join the GA, but no one has wanted this class since it became part of the reqs.

Thanks Quibby I'll add those to my list of things to do. :)

You could also do some "trap" weaves with Air, Rasheta.

Air Ropes (wrap around your foe to hold 'em down so you can get away). I know that's kind of a basic one that every Aes Sedai most likely knows, but we could add a little Green flair to make it a little more advanced. Perhaps Shielded Air Ropes??

You could do a variation of Riven Earth, where they dig a small hole to trip their opponent, instead of an army sized gaping hole a la Battle Weaves.

I'm thinking of others...
