I don't know if this is already a topic, but I'd like to get some discussion going on what could be in the letters Verin wrote (other than the ones whose content we know already- Egwene's and Matt's). How much of a role will they play in the new book? What purpose will they fulfill? Who else received them? What did the one written to Alanna say, which made her disappear, and where did she go? I seem to remember her having a stack of them to deliver...

Alanna is in the borderlands, probably in her native Arafel fighting to keep her homeland from being swept by an army of Shadowspawn. We know she's there because Rand tells us that in ToM.

the one for Rand probably told him about the Domani King, not sure what else though.
