Hey guys, so my band, Cross My Heart, needs a logo and later some album cover art, but right now I'd like to see what you guys can come up with for a general logo that we can use for everything.

 

I will give 20 points to my favorite one, whether or not I decide to use it.

 

My other band mates were looking at other artists, but I know you guys are way better than most artists out there, so I wanted to see what you guys could come up with first.

Lol, I blame the Taint! If anyone makes some really cool stuff though, and is then willing to do some cover art designs that will be paid work.

 

The logo is all I'm looking for for free lol.

 

I just figured there were people here who would do a better job than anyone around my area, so I thought I would see what anyone might come up with.

I would do it better if I had gimp, I made my middle school's planner design with that, but sadly I don't have it anymore. :(

I could think of some good ideas, but any actual artwork... might not turn out so well. But I will try something.

It's also a completely safe download. Practically educational and you will be able to do amazing graphics in homework and stuff.

Yeah, I will try to convince my dad once he gets home.

I do like GIMP, just not great with it lol.

 

Well if anyone is interested in trying, let me know today if possible, because we are looking around a lot and I want to have some to compare if possible.

Alright since no one is interested we are going with another artist, thanks anyway guys.

Oh well good luck. Since the contest is already closed I will share my idea. Maybe you guys like it and can get a skilled artist type to make it as awesome as I would like to but don't have drawing skills and my computer is broke.

Anyway, it was to have a heart either big and full or possibly some sort of gothic with a cross driven into it like a stake through a vampire heart.

 

Yeah pretty obvious. But it was free.

I did have a go at one but it think it was too complicated. Maybe I will try again but do a simpler version.

Actually I do have another version of my first idea that had just jumped into my head, so I will have to make it now, even if you have already found one.

Well yeah if you still want to make one that is perfectly alright with me, I look forward to see it. We have someone working on album art (the EP is called This World is Ours) and we have the basic idea for that, but I figured a logo would be easier so as to see if we like the style and then see if we want album artwork from the same source.

 

I've seen your art inb the past Ithi and it's really good, so I look forward to seeing what you will come up with.

What size and format are you looking at? And what kinda music are you playing? Just to get an idea. *gurgles*

Well we're looking for a general logo we can put on everything from shirts, wristbands, cds, etc. We play Metalcore/Deathcore music.

 

And we haven't closed with anyone else yet, so feel free to still submit something here.

grrr ... had a go last night and it all went wrong. I got a little frustrated so packed it up for the night. I do still have a couple of ideas so will have another go :)

 

Boopsy is most excellent however and has a really fresh unique perspective. He's got super talent :) He made my lovely Stormleader siggy and BT Mafia one.

Well feel free to keep trying, if there ends up being a couple of cool ones it will be better for comparing and deciding what we want.
