June saw one tainteh influx of new and returning members!

 

A warm toasteh welcome to our newest civvies! I present to y’all: Niel an’Tyomn (who talks to fruit), Kaylahn, nicana, Erwandy, kungfuxconquest, Brandie, aaaaaaand beginning of July we were also joined by Masema (have you been to your monthly appointment with the fork&wall outlet yet? Does it really stimulate the hair roots as I’ve heard??)

Anyway, great work in joining in so much with the spamminess you seven!!

Did you have fun rampaging taintily in Shayol Ghul? Methinks our invasion was muchly successful – we gatecrashed a great picnic, played with Trojan llamas and had fun with channelling, and best of all, achieved our ultimate goal – creating chaos and disorder, which left ‘em all in a state of confusion long after we left. Mission accomplished. Plus those shish ketrollocs were delish.

 

You may have seen a few changes happening around – there are new editions of threads, new threads for ideas and more BT game fun, moar new everything!! Be sure to check out the Arena (esp. the OMG Queue thread), and particularly Battle Grounds.

 

There is now a challenge each month, free for all to come and participate, whether Civvie, Soldier or brownie monster! The Shadow faction also marched up did some badass True Power Dore Saiding training, twill be interesting to see if the Lighties counter with some cool battle exercise as well! They can’t just defeat us with bacon rinds…

 

The Sports Ground is also, being deleted due to inactivity – but never fear, you can now look to the main Arena board for the Duelling fun!

The new Monthly Discussions are proving most popular – a great thanks to our speakers and mods for these discussions, who are visiting the BT just to chat with us about roleplaying (in June) and video games (ongoing – come and join in!)

 

Spam is flourishing as always – check out Smiley’s spam thread about STAR WARS in The Village, and jump right on in with all the hilarious spammage on the main board.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For July, it looks like there will be a perfectly black cloud over the Black Tower, mucho lightning to provide a stunning backdrop to our OP battles, raining llamas and nanas, with the occasional spot of sunshine occurring.

 

More to the point, the forecast for teh BT is just right for MOAR evul spam and plotting…

 

Oh! And here a quick update on our EPIC CHALLENGE! As you may remember, after reaching the milestone record of 100,000 posts in one thread, our new goal (as well as getting 200,000 posts in there now), is to TOP the other two really active boards, the only ones that have more replies than the BT…

-- General Discussion, who had roundabouts 567,560 posts last month when the challenge was issued, now have 6,017 posts more.

-- Our rival White Tower, had 371,366 posts, which have risen by about 500 in the last month.

-- Aaaaaaand the Black Tower, where we had 313,277 posts beginning of June, now has…

Oh, lots of reasons. We are not a RPG but we have a lot of fun. The people here are amazing. You will be sure to lol at least three times every day, often more. The taint makes us do crazy and sometimes hilarious things. If you join us you can also learn how to use the One Power and try out our OP battles. If you like games this is the one and only place to be in. I could go on forever.
