As a musician myself, I could honestly say that having Weird Al parody a song I wrote would be a bigger honor to me than a Grammy

as a non musician who's watched the grammys in befuddlement many times.... i'd have to agree...

Yeah, it's kinda crazy... though we've seen what happens when we give awards based on popular vote... (American Idol, etc)

i had the brain cells to do that.... but then i went to college and wasted them all.

That would explain it, I didn't remain in college very long, so I still have plenty of unused braincells for doing parodies of songs... lol

maybe i burned a few in the decades following college, too.

btw, i think you can set up more serious threads of this sort in one of the subboards, maybe something like the quiet room or someplace like that, a spam free zone for serious business or serious games that don;t want spam.

Actually not that much... I work at a video production place, and usually have music gear laying around for the band. Could probably get it done. buuuuuuuuuut I wouldn't want you hating me forever :)
